To help make your journey as smooth as possible, we've put together some suggested travel options.

How to Get Around?
Rental Cars: For maximum flexibility and convenience during your stay, we strongly recommend renting a car upon arrival. Car rental agencies are available at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY), Rennes Airport (RNS) & Train Station, and Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE).
Important Note for Rental Cars:Remember to specifically book an automatic transmission if that's what you're accustomed to, as manual cars are more common in France!
Taxis/Cabs:If you prefer not to rent a car, there is an option to get a taxi from Rennes (either the airport or train station) to your accommodation. Please note that the drive is approximately 40 minutes. If you opt for this, you may need to organize your transport to and from the venue across both Friday and Saturday with other guests.
Transport for the Welcome Garden Party (Friday, 26 June 2026)
No transportation service will be provided. NB: In France, there is a close to zero-tolerance policy on drinking and driving.
Transport for the Wedding Ceremony & Reception (Saturday, 27 June 2026)
How to Get There?
Drive yourself: If you are not planning to drink at the wedding, this is the easiest option!
Carpool: If you are planning to drink (French Champagne!), the most common practice is to carpool to the venue on Saturday. (Guests can then use the provided shuttles to get home on Saturday night and retrieve their vehicles on Sunday. Please see below for more information about the shuttle service).
Cab/Taxi: You can book a ride from one of the local Fougères Taxi companies (please see the selection listed below). If you do not speak French, please feel free to contact us so that we can arrange this service for you. Alternatively, your hotel will likely be able to help you.
